Try It on TuesdayTry-It-On Tuesday is anew series of introductions to crafts and hobbies starts this year on Tuesdays, July 8 to August 19, 10:00 to 12:00 in Jordan Hall (except July 29 at 7:30 pm). Try-It-On Tuesday will feature classes in Container Gardening, Jewelry Making, Scrapbooking, Greek Dancing, and Floral Arranging. Fees for each individual class vary and pre-registration is required. For information on individual classes, see the online daily calendar. If you have any questions or would like to register for a class, contact the Ocean Park Association at 934-9068 or opa@oceanpark.org. Saco Bay ArtistsSaco Bay Artists is an organization allied with OPA that meets at The Pines Community Center. Dedicated to the promotion of art in and around Ocean Park, the group meets every Monday 7:00-9:00 pm year round for business and an opportunity for artists to learn and paint together. The first Monday of the month is for painting with others or an educational film; the second is a business meeting; the third is a critique session; the fourth is a program; and the fifth is for painting with others or an education film. Guests are welcome. Saco Bay Artists will hold three Art Shows and Sales on the Library lawn this summer: July 4, August 2, and August 30.
