The Ocean Park Band - Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, The summer of 1998 will be the 25th year that the OCEAN PARK BAND has led the annual Fourth of July Parade and played in the concert by the Bell Tower after the parade. Over the years, the Band has grown and continued the tradition started in 1973. Since that time, the Band has added several performances to its schedule. Band members range in age from 12 to 80 and represent all levels of ability and musicianship... but it is always fun and the music is great. This year, under the direction of Bandmaster Dan Evans, the Ocean Park Band will play for the June 29 Sing-A-Long at 7:30 pm, July 4th parade and concert, and the August 8 Illumination Night Concert at 7:00 pm. Visiting players and original members of the Band are urged to come out and join the fun! Call Dan Evans at 934-5170 for more information.
