For Association members, visitors, and friends and–young, old and in-between–Ocean Park offers a Chautauqua vacation. Whether your stay is for a weekend away, or for the whole season, the Ocean Park Association offers activities and opportunities that will enrich your vacation and help you enjoy the traditions, the community, and the people of Ocean Park.

Calling all musicians: amateur and professional, young and old. Come and join the Temple Choir or Ocean Park band.

The Temple Choir is directed by Jerry Scheinfeldt and rehearses each Saturday at 5:30 pm and Sunday morning at 9:30 am in the Temple. (No rehearsal Saturday, August 4, due to Illumination Night activities. The rehearsal on Saturday, August 11 will be for the Choir Concert.) All visiting choir members are welcome to attend, even if you will only be in Ocean Park for one or two Sundays. If you plan to sing on Sunday, please attend the rehearsal on Saturday. The Temple Bell Choir, directed by Susan Evans, plays every Sunday and rehearses each Sunday morning at 8:00 am.  We play level 2, 2+ and 3 music.  There is a core of ringers who come each week, but we have an active substitute list. If you would like to ring with us, let us know when you will be in town and we will add you to our "available" list for those dates. The Temple Brass is directed by Dan Evans. We play every Sunday and rehearse for the Sunday service at 9:05 am Sunday morning in Porter Hall. The Brass performs on August 1st in Jordan Hall. All brass players are welcome. Rehearsals for this performance are as follows, and all are held in the Temple. Sunday, July 29, 12:30-1:30 pm and Tuesday, July 31, 5:30-6:30 pm

The Ocean Park Band, celebrating its 46th year, is under the direction of bandmaster Dan Evans. The Band will play for the Independence Day Parade and Concert and the Illumination Night Concert (August 4). Visiting instrumentalists are urged to come and join the fun!  The uniform for both performances will be the OP Band Shirt (gold) and tan, navy blue, or white pants, shorts, or skirts. If you do not have a band shirt they will be available for purchase at rehearsal. For more information call Dan Evans at 508-982-7992.

Rehearsals are Tuesday, July 3 at 5:30 pm in Porter Hall; Wednesday, July 4 at 9:15 am in Porter Hall; Saturday, August 4 at 4:00 pm in the Rec Hall.

Ocean Park Marching & Koncert Kazoo Band. No director, no music…no problem! Show up at the Bell Tower by 9:55 am on July 4 to practice for the parade.
