July 28: “Look Into My Eyes!” Myths, Misconceptions & Miracles of Hypnosis. Hypnosis isn’t about a swinging watch and being made to cluck like a chicken. Learn how it REALLY works to help lose weight, relieve stress, sleep better, quit smoking, alleviate pain, and more. Meet author, speaker and master hypnotherapist Lisa Smith, Coach of Life by Design, LLC. Cost: $5.00.

August 4: HLGBTIQQAA, a presentation on sexuality. What do these letters even mean and why should I care? Utilizing the latest information in biology & social science, Yolanda “Landi” deGregoris Turner will explore the differences between sex, gender, orientation, asexuality, bi-sexuality, intersexuality & transexuality along with many others. Landi is an associate professor & co-chair of the Psychology Dept. at Eastern Univ. Cost: $5.00.
